Meet Criselda White
Behind every successful recovery is more than just a treatment plan.
It's a therapist who listens, understands, and genuinely cares about helping people heal.
I'm Criselda White, and I'd like to share a little about who I am and why I chose this path.
Choosing a healthcare provider is about more than credentials.
You want someone who understands your concerns, respects your goals, and is committed to providing safe, compassionate care.
I believe healing begins with trust, education, and treating every person as an individual.
My journey into lymphatic therapy began with a desire to help people feel better—not just physically, but emotionally as well.
Over the years, I discovered how important the lymphatic system is in recovery, healing, and overall health.
The more I learned, the more passionate I became about providing specialized care for individuals recovering from cosmetic surgery, living with lymphedema or lipedema, and experiencing chronic swelling or fibrosis.
As my education continued, I earned advanced certifications in Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Complete Decongestive Therapy, cosmetic surgery recovery, and massage therapy instruction.
These experiences have allowed me to combine clinical knowledge with compassionate care to create treatment plans that are personalized for each client.
One of the things I enjoy most is educating my patients.
I believe that when people understand what's happening in their bodies, they feel more confident, less anxious, and more involved in their recovery.
That's one of the reasons I created Lymph in Motion.
This practice is more than a clinic.
It's a place where education and treatment work together.
Whether you're here because you're recovering from surgery, managing a chronic condition, or simply looking to improve your lymphatic health, my goal is to provide care that is safe, respectful, and based on current knowledge and best practices.
I also created Lymph in Motion Academy to share that knowledge with other massage therapists and healthcare professionals, helping raise the standard of lymphatic education and patient care.
Every person who walks through my door has a unique story, and I consider it a privilege to be part of their healing journey.
People often ask me why I chose to specialize in Manual Lymphatic Drainage and lymphedema care. The answer is deeply personal.
My father lived in the Philippines and struggled with severe swelling for many years. Our family searched for answers, but despite numerous medical visits, we never received a clear explanation that helped us understand what was happening or how it could be effectively managed. Watching someone you love live with unexplained swelling is heartbreaking. Sadly, my father passed away before we ever found the answers we were searching for.
His journey changed the course of my life.
I remember telling myself, "There has to be a better way. There has to be someone who understands this condition and can help people living with it."
Years later, while working as a massage therapist, I began noticing something that caught my attention. Many of my clients came in with swelling in their legs, arms, or other areas of their bodies. When I asked if they knew the cause, I often heard the same response:
"My doctors aren't sure."
"They've run tests, but I still don't have answers."
"I've been told to just live with it."
Those conversations reminded me of my father's experience.
I realized that swelling is often misunderstood. While it can have many different causes, it should never be ignored. Some forms of swelling are temporary and harmless, while others may signal underlying medical or lymphatic conditions that deserve proper evaluation and treatment.
That realization led me to dedicate my career to the lymphatic system.
Today, I specialize in Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Complete Decongestive Therapy, post-operative recovery, lymphedema management, lipedema support, and swelling reduction. My goal is not only to provide treatment but also to educate my clients so they better understand their bodies and know when to seek appropriate medical care.
Every client who walks through my door reminds me why I started this journey.
My father's story became my purpose.
His experience inspired me to dedicate my career to helping people reduce swelling, improve their quality of life, and find answers they may have been searching for.
That is why I became a lymphatic therapist.
And that is why I continue to learn, teach, and serve every day.
My Philosophy
My mission is to bridge the gap between medical knowledge and therapeutic practice by providing safe, anatomy-based, evidence-informed lymphatic care. Every treatment and educational program is built on the principles of clinical excellence, patient safety, and individualized care.
Whether I am working with a post-operative patient, supporting someone living with lymphedema or lipedema, or teaching fellow massage therapists, my goal is always the same—to deliver compassionate care, promote healing, and empower others through education.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage for Healing and Wellness. #lymphaticmassage #lymphaticdrainage #manuallphaticdrainage @lymphinmotion_by_criseldawhite The provided text explores the vital relationship between the cardiovascular and lymphatic systems, highlighting how the latter serves as the body’s essential waste filtration network. Unlike the heart, the lymphatic system lacks a central pump, making it susceptible to fluid stagnation caused by surgery, injury, or inactivity. To address these issues, Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is presented as a specialized, rhythmic technique designed to stimulate lymph flow and reduce internal swelling. This therapeutic approach offers numerous benefits, including enhanced immune function, accelerated post-surgical recovery, and decreased inflammation. The source concludes by introducing Lymph in Motion, a professional practice in Texas that provides expert lymphatic care for conditions like lymphedema and post-cosmetic surgery healing. Ultimately, the text emphasizes that maintaining a healthy lymphatic flow is foundational to overall physical wellness and efficient bodily healing.
Every day, about 2–4 liters of excess fluid remain in the body's tissues after the blood delivers oxygen and nutrients to the cells. The lymphatic system collects this fluid, now called lymph, and returns it to the bloodstream.
The journey begins in the lymphatic capillaries, where excess fluid, proteins, waste, and immune cells enter the lymphatic system. The lymph then travels through the precollectors and into the collectors, where one-way valves and rhythmic contractions help move it forward.
Next, the lymph passes through lymph nodes, where it is filtered and monitored by the immune system. It then enters larger lymphatic trunks, which drain into either the right lymphatic duct or the thoracic duct.
Finally, the lymph empties into the bloodstream at the venous angles (terminus), where the internal jugular and subclavian veins meet. From there, it flows through the superior vena cava into the right atrium of the heart, completing its journey.
Lymph Pathway:
Tissues → Lymphatic Capillaries → Precollectors → Collectors → Lymph Nodes → Lymphatic Trunks → Right Lymphatic Duct/Thoracic Duct → Venous Angles (Terminus) → Superior Vena Cava → Right Atrium of the Heart
